Portland Trailblazers lose to the Denver Nuggets (126-95) in 3rd Pre-Season Game.

Carmelo Anthony shooting a three against Denver

There is no reason to panic for the Portland Trailblazers (yet). Tonight, they fell to the Denver Nuggets, led by Nikola Jokic, with a final score of 126-95. Robert Covington was a bright spot in Wednesday’s game, finishing with 15 points, 3 rebounds, and a steal & a block while shooting an incredible 60% of the three-point range. Enes Kanter also filled up the stat sheet, dropping 14 points on 75% from the field.

Shooting Struggles

The Blazers finished tonight’s game shooting a combined 37/98 (38%) from the field, and 9/34 (26%) from behind the three-point line. There is no reason to panic because the Blazers rarely shoot like this and it is also, just a pre-season game. There are few times where you see both, Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum shoot a combined 35.7% from the field.
