Gary Trent Jr. scored 11 in the fourth quarter & Damian Lillard scored 21 of his 31 points in the second half in the Portland Trail Blazers’ 115-107 triumph over the Los Angeles Lakers, Monday night at the Staples Center

The Lakers took an early lead in the first quarter, holding a eight point lead over the Blazers heading into the second quarter, led by Lebron James’ 12 points. CJ McCollum and Trent Jr. came to play in the following minutes, as they scored half of the Blazers’ points in the second quarter, while Derrick Jones Jr. and Robert Covington held down the fort defensively, limiting the Lakers to 24 points in the second quarter. The Lakers kept it close in the third, going on a 15-0 run and getting a one point lead heading into the fourth but Damian Lillard, McCollum and Trent Jr. were here to play, as they led the Blazers to the win, which included a 12-6 run to end the game.
